THE CATHEDRAL BELLS OF BATHURST
THE PROJECT
The ‘Cathedral Bells of Bathurst’ is a community project dedicated to the following purposes;
1. Construction of a tower in the precincts of All Saints’ Cathedral to house nine bells,
2. The purchase of three bells to add to the existing six purchased to create a matching standard peal of eight, plus a tolling bell.
3. The establishment of an educational centre to provide instruction on bellringing and other associated activities.
Construction of the education centre will be considered for 2011 depending upon the availability of funds. This project may be linked to the development of other educational facilities in Bathurst.
